The OSIL staff builds student leadership capacity by framing and teaching leadership as a purposeful, collaborative, values-based, and relational process of people in a supportive community creating positive change.
We believe that “all students can do leadership (as) leadership development is not reserved for students holding (titles), but is for any student wanting to engage with others” (Wagner, 2006, p. 8). As such, the OSIL staff members are dedicated to designing opportunities that will help you develop your leadership capacity and campus engagement in support of becoming life-long learners.
Additionally, please stop by our office, in the University Center Annex, Second Floor, Rm. 207. Our office is a great location to connect with others, relax between classes, play games, or catch the latest news on our big screen television. We’d also be delighted to talk with you about how we can support your leadership development and campus engagement. We look forward to meeting you!
