Oak Hall is a four story, 360-bed, smoke-free, co-ed hall offering suites of two designs. One design includes 68 suites featuring two double-occupancy bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The second design includes 22 single suites featuring four private bedrooms with a shared living room area and bathroom. Residents are expected to maintain a clean bathroom area, provide the cleaning supplies and toiletries needed for their suite.
Same gender suites are located throughout each floor of the residence hall. Students in the Honors Program are assigned to the first floor. A limited number of beds are available for other first year students throughout the hall.
Wireless Internet is available and the hall is fully wired for the Internet, and cable television. A computer lab, a kitchenette, study lounges on each floor, a lounge with a large screen television and cable television service, and a laundry and vending area are outstanding features of this residence hall. A security feature includes a card access system for entrance into the building for currently assigned residents and their accompanied guests.
All rooms are furnished with twin beds (80″ mattresses), desks, desk chair, closets, dressers, and blinds. The single suites are furnished with a sofa, lounge chair, coffee table, and lamp table. Students are encouraged to bring accessories to personalize their room. Additionally, our residence hall rooms have local phone service, cable TV hookup, data connectivity, laundry and vending room access, access to 24-hour per day campus police coverage, and trained professional residence staff ready to assist residents. Oak Hall is equipped with central heating and air conditioning.
